All that glitters in Gemaria is not gold, but diamond, and Jacinth plans to shatter it all.

Cut off from her past and living destitute on the streets, Jacinth survives by stealing from those who won’t miss it. When a heist goes wrong and she lands in the hands of the Lord of Ruby Court, she’s offered a deal that would spare her life—along with the unexpected opportunity for vengeance against the man who killed her family. The only catch? She must compete in the traditional Diamond Queen Competition to win the hand of said killer: the High King of Gemaria, before assassinating him.
But the competition to become the next Diamond Queen is fierce, and she must face not only the infamous trials, that will test her in ways she never expected, but the eyes of the court stripping away the lies she wears like armor. Yet it’s the disarming king himself who leaves her second guessing the truth she’s built her life upon.
Between salacious plots, ruthless assassination attempts, electrifying dances, over the top trials, and a newly ignited love that betrays everything she ever knew, Jacinth’s time in Diamond Court will shatter the glimmering facades ruling Diamond’s court…including her own.
